This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds, cancellations, and related matters for services provided by OwnerAdda Property Portal ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We believe in fair and transparent transactions. Our refund policy is designed to protect both our customers and our business while ensuring quality service delivery.

This policy applies to all paid services offered through our platform, including but not limited to:

  • Property Verification Services
  • Document Authentication
  • Premium Subscription Plans
  • Custom Research Services
  • Bulk Data Access

2. Property Verification Services

Our property verification services are subject to specific refund conditions based on the stage of service delivery:

⚠️ Important Note

Verification timelines may vary based on authority response times, document availability, and property location. Delays beyond our control do not qualify for refunds.

🔄 3. Subscription Plans

Monthly and annual subscription plans follow these cancellation and refund guidelines:

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Cancellation: Can be cancelled anytime before the next billing cycle
  • Refund: No refunds for current billing period
  • Effective Date: Cancellation takes effect at the end of current billing cycle

Annual Subscriptions

  • Cancellation within 30 days: Full refund (prorated for used period)
  • Cancellation after 30 days: Prorated refund based on remaining months
  • Cancellation after 6 months: No refund (service considered fully utilized)

Special Consideration

If you experience technical issues preventing you from using our service, contact support within 7 days of subscription for possible exceptions.

To cancel any service or subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your account on OwnerAdda portal
  2. Navigate to "My Services" or "Subscriptions" section
  3. Select the service you wish to cancel
  4. Click on "Request Cancellation" button
  5. Select cancellation reason from dropdown menu
  6. Submit the cancellation request

Cancellation Methods

  • Online: Through your account dashboard (preferred method)
  • Email: Send request to cancellation@owneradda.in from registered email
  • Phone: Call our support line during business hours

Cancellation Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of cancellation request. Service continues until confirmed cancellation.

💸 5. Refund Process

Once your refund request is approved, here's what happens:

Refund Timeline

  • Approval Time: 1-3 business days after cancellation approval
  • Processing Time: 5-10 business days for bank processing
  • International Payments: 10-15 business days (additional bank processing)

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to same card (5-10 business days)
  • Net Banking: Credited to same bank account (3-7 business days)
  • UPI: Credited to same UPI ID (1-3 business days)
  • Digital Wallets: Credited to same wallet (1-2 business days)

Payment Gateway Charges

Payment gateway/processing charges (typically 2-3%) are non-refundable as these are third-party fees beyond our control.

🚫 6. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following circumstances:

  • Completed Services: Once verification report is delivered and downloaded
  • Data Access Services: Bulk data exports or API access once delivered
  • Change of Mind: After 48 hours of service purchase
  • Incorrect Information: If user provides incorrect property details leading to failed verification
  • Unverifiable Properties: Properties that cannot be verified due to incomplete government records
  • Force Majeure: Delays due to government office closures, natural disasters, or events beyond our control
  • Violation of Terms: If user violates Terms of Service

📝 Verification Result Disclaimer

Our verification reports are based on available official records. If government records are incomplete or incorrect, we cannot guarantee verification outcomes. Such scenarios do not qualify for refunds.

⚖️ 7. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our refund decision, follow this escalation process:

Step 1: Customer Support

Contact our support team with detailed explanation and supporting documents within 7 days of refund denial.

Step 2: Manager Review

If unsatisfied, request escalation to a supervisor. Review completed within 3 business days.

Step 3: Arbitration

For unresolved disputes, we agree to binding arbitration in New Delhi, India as per Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Time Limit: All refund requests must be made within 30 days of service completion or subscription charge.

Goodwill Adjustments

In exceptional circumstances, we may offer goodwill adjustments in the form of service credits or partial refunds at our sole discretion.
